As a mom whose passion for mommyhood grows with every day, I'm constantly seeking other Biblical parenting-views. I've become a dedicated follower to the blog of a SAHM who also homeschools her kids. Her blog is called Making Home. I'd recommend anyone read her latest blog if you are considering having a child or already have a few of them running around your house.
I don't know what I think about the blog altogether, however, I was very intrigued to read the massive amount of comments she recieved and I gained so much by reading all the many, many perspectives on her blog.
And on the same topic, to get to the core of who I am and what I feel my job is as a SAHM read this blog. This is the only post I've ever read of hers so I can't vouch for it's accuracy but this one post touched me.
I'd love to hear what any of you think.
Oh, and this is one of those rare two-blog days, so make sure you scroll below for fun pics of Micah at the Aquarium!

I really like what she had to say...especially the part of discipling young ones. I used to face lots of guilt overseas after Hazel was born and my outside time was limited. I wish I had read that post then, it would have helped put the guilt into perspective that I was doing ev and dship work at home!
I haven't faced a lot of criticism, but I have noticed I also will sometimes joke about staying home. In her comments, she said she speaks highly of it to others, and that's what I should start doing. Not looking sheepish when I mention I'm a SAHM, but realizing that is exactly where God has called me to be! Thanks for linking her...I don't check her blog often enough to catch the really good posts like this one!
