It took her a while to warm up. Maybe she was confused by our new apartment?
After she warmed up, we went outside for a walk. Eileen is quite the little sprinter! Look at her go!
This is Micah discovering that he stepped in dog poop. But I just put the photo in to show our beautiful apartment grounds. There's a large area in the middle with all these trees. It's a great picnic spot. Well, except for the dog poo.
Caleb's feet don't reach, so he just walks his tricycle.
"Ok everybody, smile real quick for a cousin picture!"
"Eileen, come back!"
"Eilllleeeen!"
After nap was homemade popsicles. Organic milk, strawberries and xylitol (a natural sweetner) makes great no-sugar, low calorie pops!
Then we put the mattresses on the floor and the kids went crazy jumping!
And then Caleb got bored and started lining up dominos on the table.( Micah was always the more cerebral one and Caleb was nonstop energy. They seemed to have traded places lately. Good lesson for all parents I guess- don't try to categorize your kids! Both boys are sometimes wiggly-worms and sometimes interested in more educational things. It's nice to see them change and grow all the time!)
Eileen and Micah jumped for a long time! Such a fun playdate!
