Tired

I've hit a wall. Oh so tired! When will this baby sleep through the night? Having a 2 year old and an infant is pretty time consuming. I've been so needy for some alone time! I was counting the minutes for Terry to come home from work today. We left this weekend as open as we could to allow both of us some rest. But, unfortunately, Terry came home from work sick.

So I got the kids down for bed, plopped Terry in bed and set him up with the Pepto Bismol within arm's reach. Then I thought I'd go to bed early myself.

But I can't sleep. So I've been reading some of my friend's blogs. It's almost as good as being on the phone with them. Just spending some time picking their brains and learning about their lives. I have been immensely blessed with friendships. If I never have another friend for the rest of my life, I'll still be laughing out loud in the car when I'm 108 (yes, I'm going to live that long) as I remember stories of the best girlfriends a gal could have. (There were many pictures of The Fam from the past that I considered using, but this one shows our truest representation, don't you think?)

I've learned so much from so many of you. Thank you for letting me in to your lives and hearts. You'd think I'd sleep better at night just knowing that there are so many people out there that I can count on. Friends for a season, friends for certain reasons, friends for a lifetime- Friendship Assembly friends and family, my sisters and aunts, college friends, The Fam, Bunco friends, and even new Small Group friends. I pray for all of you as often as I can and I hope the Sandman brings you happy dreams tonight!

I have always loved that picture. It truly does represent us. But it also looks like we're pointing and laughing at Ash. :)

HA HA! That usually is that case, right Em? Silly Ashley doing something goofy. ;) I really love that picture. Our "fake laughing" pic which makes us start to really laugh. Can we do one of those when I'm in Houston?
