When we were nearing the end of my pregnancy with Caleb I decided to invite just a few special friends and family to paint the tiles again. But, Caleb was quite the nuisance in my third trimester and all those nasty day-long bouts of contractions kept me from making any painting arrangements.
Then Mel and Jennifer stepped up again and offered to host a painting night.
(Mel, aka Aunt Mo, and Caleb)
(Jennifer and Micah)
Aunt Kelly couldn't come because her doctor told her to rest as much as possible until baby Eileen makes her appearance. But Kelly did manage to come by earlier and make a tile. Unfortunately, both my and Terry's grandmas weren't able to make it. But Terry and Uncle Bill were then able to join the fun at the last minute.
Everyone had to wear buttons that showcased goofy or cute pictures of Caleb.
Everyone had a good time. Well, most everyone...
It was a fun night with friends and yummy cake!
(Emily, me, Lindsey)
(Me, Adriah, Laura)
And of course, the finished product is absolutely beautiful and I'm grateful that we got to continue such a fun tradition! The mirror came out great!
Starting at the top left corner and moving clockwise, here's who painted what: Grandma, me, Terry, Lindsey, Micah (it's a sailboat), Jennifer, Emily, Granna, Aunt Jill, Aunt Laura, Aunt Mel, Uncle Bill (it's cool dominos in a tunnel!), Aunt Kelly, and Nonna.
And the night ended on a happy note: with a giggling baby Caleb!

I'm glad the mirror turned out cute! I had SOOOOO much fun, I am dying to paint a bunch of things now.
What a fun idea!!! I want to have a paint party! Em-I guessed your tile before I even read Sarah's list of who painted what!! Oh and I guessed Micah's ;) I am going to see if we have a place to do that in Arlington!
Oh memories! I saw my hideous football tile from Micah's and had to laugh. I REALLY did like the shower though. Wish I could've been there for Caleb's!
P.S. I finally get to meet him in almost a week!
