Easter

Saturday was Easter at Pawpaw and Nonna's house. Micah had already gotten an Easter present from Aunt Kelly and Uncle Kyle earlier in the week. Overall he got FIVE Easter baskets! (Too much candy for pregnant mama.)Here he is opening his first matchbox cars from Pawpaw.
He ended up having three Easter egg hunts (if it hadn't rained on Sunday he would have had another one at church). This was his first one and it took him a while to catch on. ("Um, Micah- it's right behind you!")

Since it was rainy, Terry and I hid eggs inside the house for Micah to find when he woke up Sunday morning. When we heard him waking up, we went into his room to tell him the Easter bunny had left him a basket of candy. I like this picture (even though I look like the wooly mammoth and I'm carrying a dirty diaper) because it reminds me of some pics of Terry when he was little. His mom would take a picure of the kids running into the living room on Christmas to get their presents. Micah has the same look of anticipation on his face!
Boys are so much fun- Micah loved getting this green and very realistic snake in his basket.

Micah had woken us up pretty early on Sunday. So after the basket opening and egg-hunting, Terry went back to bed and I lied down on the couch. I guess I fell asleep on the couch cause all of a sudden Micah was standing in front of me covered in chocolate, saying, "Dirty, dirty." He'd snuck a chocolate bunny into his room and eaten the whole thing.

After a great (rainy) service at church, we headed to Grandma's for more festivities. Here is Adriah holding her very first Easter Egg.

Micah was very sweet and let his step-cousin Luke share his Easter Basket.
Yet another fun thing about boys- Micah got tattoos in his basket and he thought this eyeball on his tummy was too funny!

haha That last picture is great...who wouldn't love to show off an eyeball on the tummy! :) I love it that he ate an entire chocolate bunny in one sitting. Sounds like my afternoon...seriously. That's what I did.
