Micah has doubled his language since I last wrote about it. I've heard about this stage where they pick up a new word nearly every day. Some of my favorite new ones are grandma, nose, and table. You should hear him say table, it's so cute!
I think he's taken a page from Hazel's book and begun calling everything that he can't pronounce "dahbah." It was a few days of asking him frustratingly, "What's dahbah?" before we realized there is no definition. Dahbah is any and everything.
We have this lava lamp sort of nite-light in his room that he gets to turn on at night as a last step before bed. It changes colors constantly and it's very pretty. We can barely get to the end of "In your name we pray.." before Micah is shouting his version of "Amen" and rushing to the nite-light to turn it off. But once he gets settled on his knees in front of it, he pauses.
He turns to look at us and waits. He's waiting for us to guess what color we think it will be when he turns it on. The funny thing is Micah always guesses "Geen" even though the very first color to appear Every Single Time is red. Every single time. So every night, he looks to us and Terry says, "Red!" and my color choice varies. Only then can he smile and say "Geen" and push the button.
Micah hates diapers. His disdain for them has not gotten us closer in using the potty, it's just made him a nudist. Well, from the waist down mostly. And he's learned a trick to get my immediate attention. He'll say "poo-poo" while he's in the buff and that gets me running every time. To this day there has yet to be any actual poop. But he sure knows how to make me come a runnin'!

I love the cute little stories! My husband, too, enjoys a few laps around the house sans bottoms. Must be a guy thing.
haha!! That was a really funny blog entry. Dahbah (well...dhaba) is a hindi word...hmmm.
