Clones!

Every once in a while Terry takes a break from his contacts and wears the oh-so-outdated glasses I mentioned a few posts ago. He's been wearing them now for nearly a week. When he first switches to glasses, it's weird and hard to get used to. But, by about the third day, I don't even notice them anymore. Then, we he takes them off, it takes me a while to get used to his face looking naked.
This morning, before I left for work, Terry and I sat down to pray together. (Micah was still sleeping.) We shared some requests and spent a few minutes talking before we heard Micah cry. I went to his room to get him. When I opened the door, he was standing in his crib and the first thing I thought was, "You look weird." And then, "Oh, you're not wearing your glasses."

It was SO weird! Like twilight zone weird. I guess Micah resembles Terry so much, that when I went from looking at Terry with glasses, to Micah without, my wires got all crossed and my brain expected to see tiny Micah sporting some lenses.

It may not seem weird to y'all, but trust me, it was bizarre. I wasn't aware that they looked that much alike. But, I guess my subconscious thinks so.
