I sat down with Micah this morning to see what he has retained from our talks about Christmas. Here is how our conversation went:

Yes I do. Yes I do have the story about Jesus in my bedroom. (No, he doesn't. The book is in the living room.)
Can they find a place to sleep?
No. Sleep in the animal farm.
What do you like about Christmas?
I wanna talk about the hippo. (The toy is currently playing with. You push a button and he opens his mouth to reveal a flashlight.)
Ok, tell me about the Hippo.
Hippos have a flashlight and it talks in here yesterday. Like this. (He shows me.)
Is that fun?
That how me find things. Like monsters, jellyfish, water, and blocks, toys, and other things. Help me see better. And close your mouth and open your mouth! Hippo mouth, kay?
Ok. Are you gonna get presents for Christmas?
Yeeeeeeah.

From Santa Clause. Santa Claw! Sanga Clause. Seenguh Craws!!
Who is the Elf on the Shelf?
On the book. On the book, Mommy.
Is he gonna come to our house?
Yeah. And he watch me; watch me find him! And I think a monster in my closet see the elf.
What will the monster do when he sees your elf?
I think, I think the Elf is batman like me!

Ohgey- Gai. (That's correct, believe it or not!)

BAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Wow! The Christmas story isn't as straight forward as I thought. I learned a few things today. Like about the Christmas hippo. ;) I like "Jesus help Mommy!". That's too cute.

Micah is a funny guy!! Do you type it out as he is talking to catch every moment...pretty impressive! I wouldn't be able to remember everything! Cute story!

I guess I figured you were more dorky than that - I thought you got out a RECORDER to record him and them typed it later! haha! Sorry. I should've given your typing speed the benefit of the doubt! :)
