Me to Caleb: Caleb, you're getting so big!
Micah, who overheard: Nu-uh. Caleb is little.
Me: Well, he's a lot bigger than he used to be. He used to fit inside my tummy, but he's too big for that now.
Micah: Me in your tummy too?
Me: Yep, you used to be in my tummy too.
Micah: Caleb and Micah go back in mommy's tummy?
Me: No, silly goose. Once you're out, you can't go back in! But maybe someday there will be another baby in my tummy. Would you like that?
Micah: Yes. Annabel. (This isn't the first time he's expressed that he would like our next baby to be Anabel, my best friend's infant.)
Me: No, if we have another baby, we don't get to pick who it is. God will make us a brand new baby.
Micah: Which one?
Me: I don't know. We'll have to wait and find out. But I don't even know if we're going to have another baby. We'll have to ask God and see what he says.
Micah: Ok, me pray. God, help Mommy get very good baby in her tummy. And then me play. Amen.
