Busy Weekend!

I've gotta make this fast- we've implemented a 4:30 rule on Sundays and I'm cutting it close. We've decided that by 4:30 on Sundays we'll do no more work, chores, cleaning, etc. It's just straight up family time in an effort to end our weekends as stress-free as possible! (And I do consider blogging a chore. Shocking, I know.)

We had a busy weekend with lots of fun stuff happening, so here's a quick update and some fun pictures...

I had another ultrasound with the perinatologist. The radiologists at Woman's Hopsital saw some excess fluid in Caleb's kidneys at my last appointment. The perinatologist confirmed it. Fortunately, she said that in boys, the fluid usually only turns out to be anything serious about 10% of the time. So once Caleb is born he'll have to have an ultrasound just to rule anything else out, but we're probably in the clear!

Saturday we found ourselves in The Woodlands with some time to spare so we took Micah to Build-A-Bear. It was a first for all three of us and it was a lot of fun. My plan is to take Micah back once Caleb is born (or a few days before) and let him build a bear for his baby brother. Micah picked a honey-colored bear for himself.

Then he stuffed him, chose a sound to insert (he picked a "roar"), and put a little red fabric heart inside the bear before he was sewn up. Then he gave him a bath.

He chose his clothes and ceremoniously named him, "Bob."

Then we headed to Avery's birthday party at The Little Gym. I've always wanted Micah to have a chance to go to a gym class like this, so I was more excited than he was! They tumbled, rolled, hopped, and sang. Micah's shy personality really showed because he was practically mute the entire time and was pretty passive during the activities. Here's some pics of Avery, the birthday girl, Micah, Jakob and Gracie.

And then, because we just hadn't gotten enough of the Green's, we went by to visit Crystal and her 1.5 week old little girl, Myleigh Hope.

It is WONDERFUL to see Micah play with our friends kids. I love knowing he'll have plenty of buddies growing up. And we're happy to add precious Myleigh to that list (even if she did spit up right down my cleavage!).

That Little Gym looks really fun!! I can't wait until Hazel is old enough to do stuff like that or enjoy Build a Bear. Well, if it were possible to also keep her a baby at the same time. :)
P.S. Love Micah's bear's name. You know I'm a fan of simple names. :)

I love the idea of quitting any chore-like activities at 4:30 on Sundays. Grant & I could benefit from something like that. I may just run it by him. :) Definitely LOVE Bob the Bear. Classic. And congrats to Crystal! :)
