So, life is calmer now in the Domino household. I'm really loving the public relations and marketing I'm getting to do from home. I've been entrusted with some really cool duties and it's exciting! I work for a green vegetarian who makes cloth diapers and a hunting organization that donates fish and game to the needy. Talk about opposites, right!?
I get one hour of work in while Micah plays in the yard first thing in the morning before it's too hot. (My new laptop has proven to be a wonderful thing-- My work can be mobile!) Then it's playing and learning time with Micah. I'll grab 15-20 minutes of more work while he has a snack and then I do another 2 hours while he naps. At that point I'm pretty much done working for the day unless there's a special project.
So afternoons are strictly Micah and cleaning/errand time. Micah's calmed down significantly since I've been back. He's not fighting naps anymore and (praise God!) he's sleeping right now for 2.5 hours! We've been sticking very strictly to his schedule these last two weeks and he's thriving! Once we get him back into a groove, we'll be able to loosen up and he should adapt to new events easily like before. I know it's redundant, but I've got to say-- being at home and having this flexibilty is fantastic! For anyone else out there who is in college even though they'd like to be a stay at home mom someday, I'd definitely recommend choosing a major like mine (Journalism) that lends well to working from the home. Marketing, Graphic Design, etc. It's working for us, anyway!

That does sound really great. I wonder what'll happen if you threw another baby in the mix?? ;)
