He's Gettin' Bigger!

Week 26 (November 3-November 9)

Micah is approx 14 inches long and weighs about 1lb 8oz
He finally opens his eyelids.
Micah's eyes will be blue in the womb, irrespective of the eye color he develops after birth.
Fat begins to be laid down under the skin.



Week 27 (November 10-16)

Tater is approx 14.33 inches long and weighs about 1lb 12oz
He can now see light through my abdomen.
Micah now has a very good chance of surviving if born prematurely (although special care would be required as vital organs would not be fully functional).

Week 28 (November 17-November 23)

Micah is approx 14.66 inches long and weighs about 2lb
The heart beats at a rate of 150 beats a minute.
His brain is growing the folds and grooves of a developed brain.
The hair on his head is longer.
Fat continues to be deposited so Micah looks more plump.
He is large enough to be able to determine his presentation (or orientation in the womb)!
