Micah is 4 months old!!

He had his 4 month check up on Wednesday. He still has a little head- it's holding steady at just the 10th percentile. He's thinned out considerably and his weight is 14 pounds and 12 ounces, putting him in the 50th percentile. And he's made leaps and bounds in the length category, surprising his short parents by being in the 75th percentile. Of course, when he was chunky, we said, "Ah, he'll grow out of it." But, now that he's tall, we say, "Hooray, he'll be a basket ball player!" Because, of course he won't grow out of the good stuff! Unfortunately, he did have to get 3 shots and has had a fever ever
since.
The last few weeks have been a world of difference regarding his behavior. He even rolled over! This is a picture of him just after the first time he rolled from his back to tummy. Doesn't he look proud?
A few blogs ago I was lamenting Micah's changed behavior that the doctor attributed to a growth spurt, colic, or acid reflux. Well, unfortunately, Micah has quite a little upset tummy due to acid reflux. He's been on one medication, but at his dr. appointment on Wendesday I asked if there was anything more we could do, since he didn't seem to be that much better. So, now the poor babe is on 2 medications. One he takes 2 times a day and the other he takes every 8 hours. Lucky for us he seems to like how the dissolvable pill (cherry) and the liquid (orange) taste and he licks his lips during every dose!
