Micah's Birthday Hoopla!

The Thursday before Micah's birthday we took cupcakes to his pre-school for a mini-birthday party. I took pictures with my phone and they're all being held captive there for the moment. Maybe I can post them later...

We enjoyed the cupcakes with his classmates and then Micah shared pirate stickers with everyone. AUnt Lindsey (who is also Micah's teacher) had a birthday hat for him to wear. But he was too cool for it.

The next day Terry took off from work and we took the boys to Chuck E. Cheese. We told him he could pick any restaurant to go to for his birthday and of course he picked Chuck E. Cheese! There was hardly anyone there and we had a blast! Micah kept saying that he wanted to come back the next day (his actual birthday) cause he was SURE he could do better at the games once he was officially four years old!

Saturday was his Pirate Birthday Party!

We lucked out and got this awesome Pirate boat from Tommy. Terry and Nik broke it into pieces to move it (Dad helped too) to the house and then spent one long, cold night putting it back together.

Grandma made this too-cool sign for the front door. It says, "Micah's Four. Yo Ho Ho."

Adriah liked to fight with the pirates.

We waited till the very end to open gifts. He loved all his booty!

He said early in the day, "Sometime you, and Daddy, and Caleb should say, '1...2...3...SUPRISE!' since it's my birthday. I almost forgot about this odd request. I remembered just as Aunt Jill and Adriah were about to leave. So we all burst into the bathroom for his weird little "Surprise Party." He loved it!
