Caleb's First Easter

Caleb didn't enjoy meeting the Easter Bunny! (this is a photo of a photo so it's a bit blurry)

But he did love dying eggs! We had so much fun!

This year we decided to go to the Saturday night service for Easter so we could volunteer during the Sunday services. Here we are Saturday night on our way out the door.

And we managed to get this great family photo on only our second try. Can you believe everyone's looking at the camera and no one's blinking?

After the church service we headed outdoors to let Micah participate in the egg hunt.

And then we finished the night with a relaxing dinner at Chili's where we let Caleb go to town on a lemon. Think he likes it?

I am so thankful that Terry and I were raised in church and are able to raise our children in the same way. We can't imagine how much harder it would be to find Jesus in this world if we weren't introduced to Him at a young age. Micah recently learned at church that, "Jesus is the light of the world." He says it from time to time and though I know he can't possibly comprehend what it means, I'm grateful that the Holy Spirit is already with him and Caleb and that he knows how to communicate with them. I can't wait for the day my children understand this wonderful holiday and come to be part of the body of Christ!

Your hair looks awesome!!
And I agree, I often find myself fully in awe that I was born to parents whose number one goal was to make sure I knew Jesus. So many emotions flood me when I ponder it.
Micah looks like he's aged a year since I last saw him.
