Independence Day!

We started the day with lunch at Larry's Mexican Restaurant with Mel. Yum! Then we headed to my mom's where we waited out the rain and then let Micah play outside. Grandma had a bubble-blowing lawn mower and a sprinkler splash ring for him.

Micah loved hanging out with Luke and eating grilled corn on the cob!

Then me, Terry, and Micah headed off to Downtown Katy where we listened to some good, old country music and watched clowns make balloon animals. Then we moved away to a grassy area and set up a blanket.
We played kick ball while we waited for the fireworks.

Once they started Micah loved them. He sat in Terry's lap and every time a big firework went off he'd look in my direction and open his mouth wide and clap!
