A Good Day

Friday was a pretty good day for the Domino family.

Micah had his very first doctor's appointment. We got great news all around. He's regained his birth weight (plus an ounce- little fatty!) and his length has grown too. He's now 8 pounds 7 ounces and 21 inches long. He's in the 50th percentile with his weight and the 55th percentil with his length.

He had to get his heel pricked again for a second newborn screening and he did so well, only whimpering and sucking my finger a little to get him through it. We were so happy to hear that he's doing so well!

Then Terry and I were able to get out and have dinner together, just the two of us. Mel and Jennifer stopped in and babysat while we ran to Chilis (their treat, by the way--Thanks Mel and Jennifer!). I was worried we'd have nothing but Micah to talk about, but we did well and enjoyed some couple time. I think we'll have to make a regular date night.
