We have a heartbeat!
Today was my thirteen week check up (I've officially made it to the second trimester!). Unfortunately, Terry couldn't come with me to the appointment.
When we had our first ultrasound they pointed out the pulsing glowing spot and let us know that was the heartbeat. But, today I got to hear it.
They bared my tummy and smoothed the cold goo on it. It took her a long time to find it, so I was bracing myself for bad news, but then all of a sudden, you could hear this little beating. It's so fast.
They said it was 158, and that anything in the 150s is exceptional!
On a different note, I've lost weight. Which is SO wierd because I've officially outgrown my fat pants and am wearing almost exclusively maternity clothes. Next post I'll share pics of my growing belly.
