Em and I loved the historic aspects of it. The kids liked the horses and the wide, open fields to run in!
Caleb tried out the bed in the Little House on The Praire-type cabin.
The frozen treats were really inexpensive. A nice change from all the kid places that charge cheap admission just to stick it to you when you're hungry.
Cowboy Larry gave us a lot of one-on-one attention. He showed us the leather work he was doing and let the kids try on chaps and hats.
Then he let them rope some hay-cows.
This was inside the most modern house on the Ranch. Wish I had a porch like this!
Plenty of wide, open spaces just served to make me and Em claustrophobic. Too far from a Starbucks, you know?
In the late 1800's house we were able to try on hats and boots. We also learned how to curtsy and bow in this house.
Yee-haw!
Em took Annabel to get her inhaler and I confused the rest of the kids by suggesting we head to the George's green house. Why was it confusing? Because the green house was white.
They still talk about this horse, Doc.
Organic Chocolate Milk for everyone in the A/C!
The tram that circles the Ranch was empty so we had a peaceful ride.
More of those open spaces.
This pic was taken right before Em got stung by a bee. Twice.
Can you imagine looking out your bedroom window to that view?

I don't remember the horse even having a name. Shows how little I paid attention! :)
