Easter 2012

Easter? When was that? When did Easter happen? Seriously!!!
So we moved in 8 days before Easter

and I was DE-termined to have everything in order by then. Somehow I managed to do this even while driving Micah to and from t-ball three times a week and taking him and Caleb to art class in Katy. I really can't even remember that week; it was such a blur!

But, miraculously we were done in time to enjoy a celebration of the most important holiday of the year!

We colored eggs with the Barschs!

And we had lunch at Dad's. And I think we did Mom's on a different day, although I'm sort of drawing a blank on that right now (someone who had chemo 2 years before I did just recently blamed their bad memory on chemo-brain, so if they can do it, I can!). Regardless, we hung out at mom's and then, I do remember this, we played volley-ball. Terry and I against Jill, Laura, and Matthew. Terry and I won but considering Jill's pregnant and it was Matthew's first time to ever play volleyball, that's not saying much!

We'd planned on getting a bike for Micah and a swing for the tree in the backyard. Since timing was perfect, the "Easter Bunny" brought these things for the boys. And, I guess this is a good time to mention that Micah has figured out that Santa and the Easter Bunny are fictitious. He shared his suspicions with me and I confirmed them for him. He thinks he's quite smart to have figured it out and he thinks it's a lot of fun keeping it a secret from Caleb!

The Easter Bunny brought them these lollipops that looked like Mater teeth!
