I loved the party. I thought it was fun to get all of the family together to enjoy a stroll around the aquarium. It was different than your average birthday party, but it fit Micah perfectly!
I was happy to find these shark fins online and I thought the kids were so cute roaming around pretending to be sharks!
You can kind of see Micah's birthday shirt in the picture. I ordered him a Penguin Happy Birthday shirt (gotta love cafe press!) but my little (and I do mean little!) boy was swimming in the size 5-6 I bought him. His annual check-up is Monday and I'm anxious to see what all of his measurements are because he is so short! Anyway, his birthday shirt looked more like a pj shirt, so we had to cover it.
That was the first disappointment of the day. The second was that the Barsch's weren't able to make it until we got to the restaurant after the aquarium. And I didn't even get a picture of Eileen at the table with the boys! Kelly, did you?
We took this photo to send to Laura since she is still working weekends and wasn't able to join us. Mom looks mad, but she was just saying, "Hi, Laura!"
Terry didn't quite give it his "all" when Jill took this picture of us pretending to be scared of the sharks.
Jayden had some time to practice his walking with Grandma and his Daddy.
After the aquarium we went for lunch at Casey's. Mom brought cupcakes from Ooh La La and Micah opened his gifts.
It was a looong drive home after such an exciting day. Caleb was a little grumpy in the car and eventually both boys passed out. But not without having a last bit of fun with their shark fins...

Looks like a great bday party idea! I love it that you ordered shark fins for them.
