Yep, that's right...we're pregnant!
A few months ago I was so sure we were pregnant. I'd have told you I was 100% positive because I had every symptom in the book. It was all I thought about for days while I waited to take a test. Which is why I was surprised to get 3 negative test results. Before I knew it though, 6 weeks had passed without a single thought about pregnancies or babies.
Terry and I were lying in bed after church one morning, taking advantage of Micah's long naps of late. And for some reason, I just jumped out of bed and grabbed a test. A test that took only the slightest second before showing me a bright pink line.
Terry was just as surpised as I was! This time around I hadn't had any signs, but here we are, pregnant, once again!
The due date is May 3. That makes us just shy of 9 weeks along right now. We've already blabbed to all of our friends and family, ignoring the cautionary tales to wait until the second trimester. My OBGYN told me some pretty smart advice when I was pregnant with Micah. She said that we should spread the news as soon as we wished with anyone who we would also want to sympathize with us if the unmentionable happened. We thought that made great sense. And it just also happens to give me free reign to share my news! And how could I possibly not share such a blessing? I mean, who doesn't want another one of these...

How exciting! I sure hope that the new little one is at least half as cute as Micah! I love reading about the family and I can imagine this pregnancy will be so much fun sharing it with a big brother.
YEA!!! I'm so excited to see my new niece/nephew. And to be with you during your pregnancy this time!
