Splash Time!

One of the things on my "Spreadsheet of Summer Fun!" was a splash pad I'd looked up online. I'm upset that it took us nearly a month of Summer to check it out because it was a really cool place. And the best part is- it's free!

They started off on the playground but it was nearly 11 o'clock and it was way too hot!

When we first got there there were two other groups of kids. After about 10 minutes, they left and Micah and Caleb had the run of the whole splash pad!

We took a break for sandwiches and Lil Hug juice boxes (thanks for leaving them for us, Patricia!)

Aunt Jill took a break from her studying to join us. She didn't want me to take a picture of her but I just had to because she matched the splash pad!

Then we went for Sno Cones! (5 points to the first Lanier to identify where we are!)

I look awful in this picture but I'm including it to show another view of where we are.

And then everyone was exhausted so we headed home. Some of us to take naps, others of us to have giant cups of coffee!
