All About Daddy

June not only brings Father's Day, but also Terry's birthday. As usual Micah picked out a gift from the Dollar Store for both occasions.

Terry slept late on his birthday so we woke him up by jumping on the bed. My favorite moments with the boys are tucking them in at night and any morning when we all end up in bed together. (Even Micah's Care Bear joined in the fun.)

Micah wrapped the birthday gift himself and was proud to present it to Dad. He drew a Dr. Pepper can on the inside of the card.

 

The Father's Day gift opening didn't happen until after church. Terry and Micah are both red and sweaty from playing outside.

The gift was a porcelain bear waving a British flag.

Micah told Terry it would look good on his desk at work, so that's the bear's new home.

June is also my dad's birthday and Micah bought him a bug catcher. To celebrate both birthdays we had a get together of family and a few close friends. Terry is loving the grill that the Benders gave us so he grilled a ton of burgers. 

We had water balloons and water guns for the kids but it didn't take long for the guys to start a full-on water war.

(There were actually some big-time blackmail worthy pictures of Terry fighting his friends to avoid water balloons and being thrown in the pool. But I'm keeping those private. For now.)
